- The scanner prism - The optical prism is high-impact resistant
and can be adapted for outside use under severe environmental
conditions. It is highly anti-static and resistant against

scratches, hammering and vandalism.

that ask for a password first, The BioCert™ FS-100 only requires
your fingertip to process user verification. The BioCert™ FS-100
operates with 1:n identification method having less than 0.5
seconds of verification time per each fingerprint.
- Memory Capacity for 99 Fingerprints – The BioCert™ FS-100 has
high memory capacity with high speed and high efficiency that
enable to input up to 99 different fingerprints.
- Safety “Dead Bolt” - You may bolt the door by turning the
safety bolt knob inside. Anyone else cannot open it from outside.
- Power Supply – The BioCert™ FS-100 is powered by 5 AA 1.5V
alkaline batteries. The power consumption is extremely low and it
can support 4000 operations. For a typical family these batteries
will last 6-12 months. We recommend changing your batteries as you
would in your fire detectors ~ during each daylight savings
period. Please use high quality – long life alkaline batteries
such as Duracell.
- Stand-by Power supply - There are two stand-by external power
supply sockets beneath the key pad. In case of low battery you can
plug in a standard 9 Volt battery into this socket and the
BioCert™ FS-100 will allow you to unlock the door using your
fingerprint.

Programming NOTE: We recommend
that you enroll the same finger multiple times in different
positions on the fingerprint sensor. This way, your finger is
represented in the template with multiple minutiae point
combinations. This will make the template recognition and door
unlocking much faster.

Instructions
 Drill
Holes:
Drill holes as marked on the included install template. (It is very
important to drill the exact size hole. |

 Install
the lock body (1):
Press the mortise into the lock cavity in the door, and fix it with
screws firmly. Then check the popup situation of the lock tongue. |
 Install
the lock body (2):
Pull the leads and check the location of every installing hole, then
fix the outside parts on the door. |

 Install
the lock inside body (3):
Join the leads connecting plugs of inside and outside handle parts.
Then connect the square axis with knob axis. Make sure that the
inside and outside handle parts are reliably connected with lock
body. After this, screw firmly the fixing bolts of the battery box
cover. |

 Install
dead bolt
With the dead bolt in the locked position, place the locking lever
horizontally on the door. |
 Test
Function
Check to see if every function works properly. Then install the code
box cover. |
